The Commerce Trust Company sought to create a welcoming and contemporary banking environment centered around an architectural staircase that would become the defining feature of the lobby. Rather than relying on traditional stone or metal treads, the design team selected structural glass to maximize openness and allow natural light to flow throughout the space.
