CUSTOMER GOALS:
The design team was looking for a custom cast glass panels that could achieve all required glass safety requirements of an exterior decorative glass installation while being exposed to the varying weather/elements found in the Northeast climate was a major concern.
AT TCG we conducted extensive testing utilizing various cast glass manufacturing as well as waterjet and lamination methodologies. We produced 6 figures worth of samples to develop a solution for Princeton University that we are very proud of.
These custom glass glass panels are THICK and they are laminated to exceed any safety requirements. The lamination used is impervious to weather and temperature changes providing a superior adhesion and clarity. The glass is a stand out star on this project which glows at night.
We are very excited to have developed this product for the team.

At TCG Glass, we test our glass products more than any other architectural glass manufacturer and we exceed the most stringent requirements in the world!
Strength and Durability
Our glass panels are laminated and manufactured to meet/exceed the following standards:
- ASTM C1048, standard specification for heat-treated glass-kind HS, kind FT coated and uncoated.
- ASTM C1172-91, standard application for laminated architectural flat glass.
- ASTM C1036, Type 1-transparent, quality Q3-glazing select quality
