The Story

Modern workplaces demand spaces that encourage collaboration while still providing areas for focused conversations and privacy. For Streeter Apartments in downtown Chicago, the design team selected TCG Glass’ handcrafted Rainfall™ cast glass to create conference rooms and office partitions that achieve both objectives without sacrificing natural light.

Inspired by the appearance of water flowing down glass, the Rainfall™ texture gently obscures views while maintaining a bright, open environment. The subtle vertical pattern creates movement across each panel, giving the walls a refined architectural presence that changes throughout the day as lighting conditions shift.

The installation includes custom cast glass walls, matching glass doors, and carefully aligned panels that wrap around multiple meeting rooms, creating a cohesive design language throughout the office environment.
