Cast Glass

Princeton University – Neuroscience Building features a custom laminated cast glass façade that wraps the perimeter of the building, creating a distinctive architectural skin that balances privacy, daylight, and durability. TCG Glass developed a custom cast glass texture and a proprietary lamination system engineered for long-term exterior performance, providing a weather-resistant façade capable of withstanding years of exposure to the elements while maintaining its appearance.

The Story


Religious spaces demand materials that are both beautiful and enduring. For the chapel at St. Francis DeSales High School, cast glass was selected to create an atmosphere that feels warm, contemplative, and inspiring without overwhelming the surrounding architecture.



Unlike conventional decorative glass, each cast glass panel is individually handcrafted, producing subtle variations that make every piece unique. As daylight moves through the chapel throughout the day, the textured glass captures and diffuses light, adding depth and visual interest while maintaining the peaceful character expected in a place of worship.


The finished installation demonstrates how architectural cast glass can serve as both an artistic element and a functional building material, creating a lasting feature that will continue to inspire future generations of students and visitors.
