Unique Design Challenges:
One of the greatest challenges was fabricating each cast glass panel to match the artist’s uniquely shaped stainless steel framework. Unlike standard rectangular glazing, every panel required precise cutting and finishing to fit its individual opening while maintaining consistent joints and alignment throughout the installation. The result is a seamless integration of handcrafted cast glass and sculptural metalwork that appears effortless despite the complexity of its fabrication.

The Story
Rather than treating the entrance as a standard set of doors, this project elevates it into a sculptural focal point. Custom cast glass panels are framed within organically shaped stainless steel elements that appear to flow across the façade, creating movement and visual interest from every angle. The textured glass captures and diffuses natural light throughout the day, producing constantly changing reflections that enhance the experience of entering the building.
Every cast glass panel was individually handcrafted, giving the installation the subtle variations and depth that cannot be achieved with manufactured patterned glass. The combination of artisan craftsmanship, custom metal fabrication, and architectural glazing demonstrates how decorative glass can become an integral part of a building’s identity rather than simply serving as an enclosure.
