TCG Glass collaborated on the creation of a custom blue cast glass waterfall for the historic Green-Wood Cemetery Mausoleum in Brooklyn, New York. Designed as a striking architectural water feature, the installation combines richly colored cast glass with flowing water to create a tranquil focal point that complements the mausoleum’s timeless architecture and peaceful surroundings.



Manufactured using a custom linear cast glass texture, each panel was engineered so the texture terminated precisely at its edges, allowing the water to wrap seamlessly from one panel to the next as it cascades downward. The result is a continuous, uninterrupted flow that transforms the cast glass into a dynamic architectural element, demonstrating the exceptional craftsmanship and precision required to merge art, water, and glass into a single installation.

The Story

The custom waterfall at the Green-Wood Cemetery Mausoleum was envisioned as more than a decorative water feature—it was designed to create a peaceful architectural focal point that reflects the serenity and permanence of one of America’s most historic cemeteries. To achieve this vision, TCG Glass manufactured custom blue cast glass panels that bring depth, color, and movement to the installation as water continuously flows across their textured surfaces.


A defining element of the project was the development of a custom linear cast glass texture engineered specifically for the waterfall. Rather than allowing the texture to terminate randomly, each panel was manufactured so the pattern ended at precisely the correct location along its edge. This meticulous fabrication allowed the flowing water to wrap seamlessly from one panel to the next, creating the appearance of a single continuous cascade rather than a series of individual glass panels.
