 Design a structural glass flooring system capable of supporting continuous retail foot traffic while maintaining exceptional transparency and a clean, contemporary appearance. The flooring needed to integrate seamlessly with the store’s modern industrial architecture and become a signature design feature rather than simply a walking surface.

The Story

For its New York City flagship location, AG Jeans wanted an interior that reflected the brand’s modern, premium image. Structural glass flooring became a central architectural element, transforming a functional walkway into a striking design feature that immediately captures visitors’ attention.



TCG Glass engineered and manufactured the custom laminated glass flooring system specifically for the demands of a high-end retail environment. Finished with our proprietary GlassGrit™ anti-slip surface, the floor provides the safety and durability required for continuous foot traffic while maintaining the clean, sophisticated appearance expected in a luxury retail setting.

The finished installation complements the exposed concrete walls, glass railings, and contemporary merchandising displays, demonstrating how structural glass can become both a functional building element and a signature design feature. More than just a floor, it helps define the shopping experience and showcases the possibilities of decorative architectural glass in commercial interiors.
