An Interactive Wall of Handcrafted Antique Mirrors
TCG Glass was commissioned to create a custom antique mirror installation for Airbnb’s headquarters in San Francisco, transforming a simple corridor wall into an interactive architectural feature.
Rather than placing the mirrors in a flat, uniform plane, each framed antique mirror was installed at a slightly different angle. This creates a dynamic, ever-changing reflection that responds to people as they walk by — turning light, movement, and reflection into part of the experience.

The result is a wall that feels alive. As employees and visitors move through the space, the reflections shift and overlap, making the mirrors feel less like decoration and more like a sculptural glass installation.
Handcrafted Framed Antique Mirrors
Each mirror was hand-silvered and organically antiqued using traditional techniques, then custom framed to match Airbnb’s interior aesthetic. The subtle variations in the antique finish add depth and warmth, while the angled layout creates visual energy throughout the space.
