For the 525 Vine office tower, TCG Glass designed and manufactured a custom cast glass sign in a proprietary blue architectural glass color developed exclusively for the project. The result is a distinctive architectural feature that combines handcrafted artistry, dimensional glass, and long-lasting durability while creating an unforgettable first impression.

The Story
Corporate signage often relies on metal, acrylic, or painted surfaces. The design team for 525 Vine wanted something far more distinctive—an architectural element that reflected the quality of the building itself.
TCG Glass manufactured a custom cast glass sign using a proprietary blue glass formulation created specifically for the project. Unlike painted or coated signage, the rich blue color is permanently incorporated throughout the cast glass itself, creating exceptional depth, permanence, and brilliance.
The handcrafted casting process also allowed the building name and address to become part of the glass itself, producing dimensional lettering that changes appearance as light moves across the surface.
Today, the installation serves as both wayfinding and architecture, demonstrating how custom cast glass can transform traditional building signage into a memorable design feature.
